USA: Death Cases due to COVID-19’s Omicron variant comparable to Delta variant

The death toll associated with the novel Coronavirus has increased gradually in the USA. The per-day count of the fatalities has been reported more than in the previous days.

As per the information provided by the experts, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is affecting the people on more than as compared to the previous one, Delta. Moreover, the figures that have been recorded depicts that the death of the individuals to COVID will increase rapidly.

According to the data, the maximum number of people dying because of severe symptoms is more than 2,000, and the severe condition leads to hospitalisation and people getting admitted to the Intensive Care Units (ICUs).

Meanwhile, on an everyday basis, in the USA, individuals are getting infected by the new variant of COVID-19 Omicron, which means that people are dying daily, and this is creating a devastating situation. The rate of death recorded in the previous September month is at the same level as the current cases of the individuals getting infected from the variant.

Furthermore, people over 65-year-old is more likely to die than those who have not received their vaccination yet.

Currently, over 866,000 deaths have been recorded because of the Coronavirus in the United States.

The figures shared by Johns Hopkins University stated that the per day confirmed deaths of the COVID affected people have been excelled to 2,000 on 21st January. On the other hand,  on 23rd January, it was reported as 2,033 death as there was an increase of 33 deaths.

In the month of September, the Delta variant has been increased at a rapid pace.

Presently, the hospitals’ admissions have been soaring as the individuals are gatting infected from the deadly virus in a higher amount than the previous variant Delta. The cases are more raised than ever-before.

As per the information provided by the sources, the count of the people affected has been showing an upward trend than the earlier one.
