In San Francisco, the cases of the COVID-19 variant are downsizing gradually in California. Looking at the figures of the individuals affected by the virus leads to lifting up the mask mandate for the indoor hospitality venues in the coming week.

On Monday, 7th February, the state officials have declared that without masks, the individuals can get access to indoor places, including restaurants, bars, theatres, museums and so on, in the coming week.

Moreover, the lifting of the masks will be applicable for the nations, including San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and San Bernardino counties and in the broad strip of the San Joaquin Valley.

The nations can still choose to maintain the mask orders similar to Los Angeles County.

However, the decision that has been taken into account doesn’t mean that the covering of the face will not be included in the last time. This will still be compulsory for the individuals that are not yet vaccinated, and they will get entry in the public indoor places or during the aboard public transit.

Dr Tomás J. Aragón, the state’s director of public health and health officer, mentioned, “Omicron has been reduced in California, vaccination for the children under the age of 5 is just around the corner, and access to the Coronavirus vaccine is getting improved. The things are getting in the right direction, and we are working on making the accountable changes to the COVID-19 prevention measured, and also going to develop the action plan for the long duration for the sake of the state.”

Meanwhile, the current regulation of the compulsory masks in California will still be there till 15th February as it was in the last time.
