Washington: State decides to expand distribution of COVID-19 tests free of cost

In Washington, the state has decided to expand its program related to the distribution of the COVID-19 tests free of cost in the entire state.

As per the information shared by the state Department of Health, on Wednesday, this action will take place. The individual getting infected with the issue has been showing a decrease since the beginning of February month.

Moreover, there is a site sayyescovidhometest.org that allows individuals to order free tests to be delivered to their apartments, and this will permit a maximum number of two orders in every household every month till the supplies will be available in the state.

Along with this, the state’s deputy secretary of COVID-19 named, Lacy Fehrenbach, mentioned, “Home tests are an excellent public health tool that helps us know quickly and conveniently if we have COVID-19 so that we can take action to care for ourselves.”

At the beginning of January, the state Department of Health launched the site in which one household can order only one kit, which will include a maximum of five as there is limited supply in the state.

However, the test in California has been running out at a rapid pace, and distribution has stopped temporarily till the department will restock all of the tests kits, but the site accepts the orders.
