California Bio teacher arrested for molesting 7 students, sharing photos on internet

In California, United States, a biology teacher has been apprehended for allegedly molesting seven students as well as sharing the graphic photos on the internet, according to the authorities.

As per the Costa District Attorney’s Office, the 35-year-old named Anessa Paige Gower is going through 29 different criminal counts over the alleged abuse that has been occurred when she was teaching at Making Waves Academy in Richmond.

Moreover, the victims, as well as the witnesses, have shared the information with the investigators that the abuse, which dates back to the previous year, including the sex, acts with the juveniles, there was inappropriate touching and sharing of sexually graphic pictures, says the prosecutors.

The authorities have not mentioned the age or the gender of any of the victims, but the charter school caters to students in grades 5 to 12.

Along with this, Gower was taken into custody on the previous Wednesday at the Sacramento International Airport when she returned from a vacation in Hawaii.

She is currently in custody in Richmond as well as is facing various child molestation charges.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Making Waves Academy named, Alton B. Nelson, has mentioned in the statement that Gower was fired after the allegations came to light.

Meanwhile, Nelson stated, “During the course of an investigation into allegations that one of our teachers violated school policy, we learned of additional highly concerning allegations involving that teacher’s conduct.”

Furthermore, “We immediately shared that information with authorities who are reviewing the matter. That teacher is no longer employed by Making Waves Academy, and we have reached out to parents, students and faculty to provide support where it might be needed.”
