Parents of murder victim spoke out after their son killed with a shovel to head

The parents of a murder victim spoke out after their son was killed with a shovel to the head on Friday.

In the United States of America, a 25-year-old boy named Etienne Murray has been suffering from a traumatic brain injury as one of his friends has brutally hit him, and he was fighting for his life in the health care center before he died on Friday.

Moreover, on the previous Tuesday, he got injured in the head with a shovel in the 4300 block of Windy Hill Circle East in Tillman’s Corner.

According to the Mobile Police, the suspect named Morgan Barnhill mentioned that the 25-year-old was an intruder breaking into his shed, so he slammed him in the head. That story unravelled when the investigators stated that they found several inconsistencies.

Along with this, as per Murray’s mother, Barnhill was the friend with her son as well as Etienne was invited over for a barbecue. That is when Barnhill has been accused him of stealing a purse, then proceeded to strike him.

Meanwhile, Linda Gayle, the mother of the 25-year-old boy, said, “After he beat my baby, he left him there, didn’t call for help, didn’t try for help. If he had called for help, maybe my baby would still be here.”

Afterwards, Barnhillwas charged with murder as well as was booked in Metro.

Furthermore, the mix of emotions for the victim’s family has been heartbroken over their loss and angry towards their son’s suspected murderer.

In addition, Gayle asserted, “I want him to know he has shattered my world. He took my baby, and he didn’t have to do that. If he feels like my child took something from him, why not call the police? Why not handle it the right way? Why take the cowardly way out and beat my child’s head and leave him there?”
