Prez Biden shows support to European allies; who are facing intimidation by Russia

The United States‘ President, Joe Biden, has mentioned via his social media handles about the efforts they are making to support the European allies that have been threatened by Russia.

The President has stated this on his Twitter account, “It’s another reminder of the imperative for Europe as well as the world to move more, and more of our power needs to clean energy — and the U.S. is doing that now. Last year we deployed more solar, wind, and battery storage than any year in history — enough to power 56 million homes.”

He further noted, “We are working with other nations — like South Korea, Japan, and Qatar — that support our effort to help our European allies threatened by Russia with gas blackmail meet their energy needs in other ways. Aggression will not win. Threats will not win.”

“Yesterday, Russia threatened two of our allies with a cut off of energy supplies. Let me be clear- We will not let Russia intimidate or blackmail its way out of sanctions. And we will not allow them to use their oil to avoid consequences for their aggression,” President Biden emphasized.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military operation against Ukraine, which began on February 24, the issues about gas supplies and the other matters concerning other nations all over the globe.

Along with this, the President of the United States of America has also reassured us that “we, along with our several Western allies, stand firm with war-torn Ukraine in these tough times.”

Last week, the U.S. planned to host an expected gathering of over 40 nations for Ukraine-related defense talks, which was likely to focus on arming Kyiv to defend against an unfolding and potentially decisive Russian onslaught in the east.

At the same time, the USA defense secretary Lloyd Austin held the event at Ramstein Airbase in Germany after a trip to Kyiv, where he made a promise for additional help to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s war effort.
