Texas shooting accused was sending texts to an Instagrammer, asking to share gun photos

United States: Just a few hours before, teen Salvador Ramos slammed into an elementary school in Texas to shower multiple bullets on students. He shot off a text message via his social media handle, “I’m about to”.

As per the reports, the 18-year-old was messaging a girl from his Instagram account, in which Ramos mentioned, “I got a Lil secret I wanna tell u.” In the message, he added the emoji of a smiley which was covering its mouth.

At about 9.16 am, he sent his last message, “Ima air out.”

Moreover, around 11.32 am, he was shooting little young ones at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

He killed 21 people, including Nineteen children and two adults, before he was shot to death.

Along with this, at first, Ramos messaged the girl from the account that was reportedly having a username as ‘@salv8dor_’ after tagging her in a photo of guns.

On Tuesday, he messaged her again in the morning, just before the shooting took place.

He highlighted in the message, “I’m about to.”

The girl raised the question to Ramos, “About to what?”

In addition, he answered, “I’ll tell you before 11.”

As per the police officials, Ramos fired at his grandmother before leaving for the school. He was a student at Uvalde High School before he worked at a Wendy’s outlet.

Meanwhile, the reports further revealed that he had legally bought the firearms he used in the shooting when he turned 18-year-old.

His social media was fully showing all the pictures of guns that he brought on his 18th birthday; state senator Roland Gutierrez has been mentioned in the statement.

Furthermore, a new law was passed in Texas in the month of September for that people 18 to 21-year-old could buy guns if they had a protective order because they were at risk of family violence, stalking, prostitution or sex trafficking.

Meanwhile, Ramos said that he’d text her in an hour. He mentioned, “Be grateful I tagged you.”

She said, “No, it’s just scary,’ adding: ‘I barely know you, and you tag me in a picture with some guns?'”

The incident happened at about 11:32 am.

The woman was stunned when she got all the information about the shooting and what he had done.

However, she said, “‘He’s a stranger I know nothing about him he decided to tag me in his gun post.”

“I’m so sorry for the victims and their families I really don’t know what to say.”

She added, “The only reason I responded to him was because I was afraid of him I wish I stayed awake to at least try to convince him to not commit his crime. I didn’t know.”

One of the Instagram users asked her if she was his girlfriend, and she answered, “I don’t know him, and I don’t even live in Texas.”
