Chicago: 1 killed, 6 injured in shooting on Tuesday

United States: A gunfire occurred all around Chicago on Tuesday, resulting in one guy being dragged to death and more than six other people being injured.

A guy, estimated to be 39 years old, was standing on a sidewalk in the 2000 block of West 36th Street at around 10:30 p.m. when someone approached him on a bike and opened fire, wounding him in the chest, according to Chicago police. He was transported by paramedics to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A man was on the sidewalk in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street about ten minutes ago when someone got out of a silver Dodge automobile and started shooting, according to the police. The 22-year-old male was injured in the leg and later transferred to St Bernard Hospital, where, according to officials, he was in stable condition.

According to authorities, a lady fired fire on a guy who was fighting with her at approximately 4 am in the 11100 block of South Parnell Avenue, striking him in the back. He was brought to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was described as critical.

Approximately three further persons were shot on Tuesday in Chicago at the same time.

However, gunfire on Monday in Chicago left at least 11 people injured.
