Hawaii: 13 COVID deaths, more than 2,200 cases in previous week

United States: Additional covid-19 deaths were reported on Monday in Hawaii as 13 and 2,219 new cases in the previous seven days.

That approximates 2,696 cases as well as three additional deaths in the last week. Department of Health mentioned in the statement that the average positivity rate is 10.7 percent.

The COVID figures of the state do not include positives from at-home tests, so the real number is likely far higher.

Along with this, the latest number brings the statewide total since the beginning of the pandemic to 337,737.

In addition, the additional casualties were the state’s COVID death toll to 1,632.

The state now issues its COVID data on a weekly rather than daily basis.

The overall cases of COVID in about 14 days have been reported as 4,590, as well as there was 1,632 cumulative death.

On the other hand, the Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States- Dr Anthony Fauci, predicts that COVID-19 will become “More of an endemic situation” in the United States by the month of December, which means that the COVID-19 can be treated more like the flue than a health emergency.

COVID is “not going to be eradicated, as well as it is not going to be eliminated,” Fauci highlighted this during an interview.

The chief of the White House medical adviser stated that coronavirus will become “Something we can live with that does not disrupt us.”

Fauci stated that the eventual transition of COVID to endemicity made his decision to retire at the end of the year, well in advance of the end of President Joe Biden’s first term.
