Sport utility vehicle crashed into North Carolina fast-food restaurant

United States: A sport utility vehicle crashed into a fast-food restaurant on Sunday in North Carolina, killing two sibling cutomers, as per the police officials

The single-vehicle incident took place at about 9:45 a.m. at a Hardee’s restaurant in the city of Wilson, about 40 miles (65 kilometres) east of the state capital Raleigh.

Moreover, the 58-years-old- Christopher Ruffin and 62-year-old- Clay Ruffin, the Lincoln Aviator-struck brothers, both from Wilson, as per the police officials. Christopher Ruffin was pronounced dead when the incident occurred, while his brother died at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

In the glimpse of the scene, the silver SUV is seen to have gone through the front windows and stopped inside the dining area atop the broken glass as well as window frames. 

Along with this, another customer was examined by emergency medical personnel but did not go to the health care centre, as per the police Sgt. Eric McInerny.

The police identified the driver as Jesse Lawrence, 78-year-old of Wilson, who was treated at Wilson, who was taken to the Wilson Medical Center and released. The investigation was still ongoing, but the police mentioned that they did not believe the crash to be medical-or impairment-related. 

Furthermore, no charges were announced on late Sunday afternoon.
