United States: A second-grade teacher at Timber Trace Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens was apprehended on Wednesday with multiple charges of child pornography.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detained the 54-year-old- Edward Parker of Jupiter Farms on about 30 counts of possession of ten or more pictures of child pornography.
The sheriff’s office mentioned in the statement that its Special Victims Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing as well as Exploited Children about Parker uploading as well as viewing child pornography.

The records show Parker was booked into the Palm.
According to records, Parker was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Wednesday at 9 a.m. He is being detained on a $150,000 bail.
According to the letter sent to parents by principal Kathy Pasquariello, Parker has been employed at Timber Trace Elementary School since 2002.
There is “no indication that this alleged illegal behaviour directly implicated the school or children,” according to Pasquariello, who claimed Parker was detained off-campus on Wednesday.
The principal added to the statement that Parker “will not be returning to our campus,” as well as the investigation remains active.
In addition, parent Heather Saltalamacchia asserted, “It’s terrifying. It’s horrifying. You think that teachers are here to protect, as well as most of them are. But, I mean, it is terrifying news.”
Saltalamacchia has a young one who just begin kindergarten at the Timber Trace Elementary School. While she did not know Parker, Saltalamacchia emphasised the news of his arrest was highly concerning.
Saltalamacchia expressed, “It hits too close to home. You do everything in your power to secure and protect your children, as well as you can only do so much. You have to send them to school. And to think that a teacher was downloading child pornography and is overseeing our children and is supposed to be there to secure them as well as teach them, it definitely puts things in perspective for sure.”
