Chicago Public Schools hosts free vaccination clinics

United States: Chicago Public Schools hosts free vaccination clinics, and some of those clinics have the new bivalent COVID-19 booster shot. They motivated the people to book the one nearest to them.

They shared the information through their official Twitter account and noted, “COVID-19 vaccination is the most effective way to stop serious illness should your child contract the disease.”

Along with this, the Chicago Public Schools stated that these COVID-19 vaccination are safe, free and effective and widely available to all the people from Chicago aged six months and older.

“If you’re ready to get yourself or your child vaccinated, you can find appointments using this site,” they highlighted.

The FDA and CDC have authorized an updated COVID-19 vaccine designed to offer additional as well as broader protection against COVID variants that are causing most new infections.

In addition, anyone aged 12 as well as up who has already received a primary vaccine series or the original booster dose can receive this updated vaccine two months after their most recent dose.

This updated vaccine, which is also known as a “bivalent booster,” is available at CPS-run vaccination events as well as at most of the other providers throughout the city.
