Infant, parents, among four Indian-origin people abducted in California

United States: An 8-month-old girl, as well as her parents, were among four individuals abducted from Merced County in California on Monday, as per the authorities.

Merced County Sheriff’s Office mentioned in the statement on Monday that the 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh, 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur, their eight-month-old child Aroohi Dheri the 39-year-old Amandeep Singh, were transported, according to the sources.

The police officials described the suspect as being armed as well as dangerous.

Not much detail about the incident has been released as the investigation is still in its early stages, but authorities have mentioned in the statement that the four were taken against their will from a place (business) in the 800 Block of South Highway 59, according to the sources.

Along with this, the side of the alleged abduction is a roadway lined with retailers as well as restaurants.

The sources reported that officials had not named a suspect or a possible motive.

The sheriff’s office highlighted in the statement on Monday, “We are asking the public not to approach the suspect or victim.”

The officials asked the people not to approach the suspect or victims as well as call 911 if they were seen.

Furthermore, in the year 2019, an Indian-origin technology expert, Tushar Atre, was discovered dead in the car of his girlfriend hours after the owner of a digital marketing company in the United States was allegedly kidnapped from his elegant home in California.
