Teen flight instructor dies in aircraft accident in Virginia, was living her dream

United States: The teenage flight instructor’s friends described her as a legend for working toward her longtime aim of becoming a commercial pilot and said it was her lifelong desire to die in an aircraft accident in Virginia on Thursday.

When the 18-year-old student pilot she was mentoring lifted the little plane up at an improper angle after takeoff, the aircraft stalled and fell from a height of around 100 feet, killing Viktoria Theresie Izabelle Ljungman, 23, in the accident.

Along with this, “I recall that was all she ever wanted to do when I first met her. Charlie Hudson, who played tennis with Ljungman at Hampton University, told the sources that she desired to become a commercial pilot.

A Swedish national who studied at Hampton University in Virginia-Ljungman, got her pilot’s licence in March 2021 as well as her flight instructor’s licence in April of this year.

A former roommate at Hampton University-Myana Mabry, mentioned in the statement that she was proud of her for pursuing her aspirations as well as frequently spoke about them to other children.

To hear the words, “Hey, my roommate is a legend—not a legend in the making, but a legend,”  Mabry shared the information.  “Watching her aspirations come true was just so admirable and satisfying.”

Ljungman posted pictures and videos from the cockpit to her Instagram account, “viktoriathepilot,” where she chronicled her “adventure to become an airline pilot.”

She really appeared so innocent because she had such a pure nature, said, Hudson. She was exactly similar in person to how she seemed on social media. Finding someone who is similar to you both offline and online is, in my opinion, becoming increasingly unusual.

Everyone Mabry encountered at the institution, according to Mabry, adored her old roommate.

She said, “She simply just her being so real, people were naturally drawn to her.”

Hudson also recalled her for her endearing demeanour, which attracted others.

He remarked, “I don’t recall her ever not grinning. She was really delightful to be around and had amazing energy.
