Texas school officials throw a kid against a wall, mother shares surveillance footage

United States: A worried mother shared surveillance footage purportedly showing a school official throwing a 14-year-old kid against a wall earlier this year at a school in Round Rock, Texas.

At the GOALS Learning Center, a school for adolescents with emotional disturbance as their principal handicap, the event took place on April 29, in Texas.

Tatiana Alfano, the mother, told the sources that she had gotten a phone and an email from the school informing her that her son had been stubborn and had fallen and hurt his head.

Quintin Proctor’s mother was astonished when she obtained security footage of the event from the school two weeks after her son Quintin insisted that the administrator had thrown him against a wall.

Proctor, two female instructors, and the male administrator may all be seen on the video chatting in a corridor. Having yelled at his professors, he said he had been taken into the “cool down room” to calm down.

Proctor turned to pursue the two instructors as they turned to leave, but the administrator seemed to grasp him and hurl him against the wall.

Proctor sprang up and repeatedly reared back his arm as if he were about to punch, but he never did. Later, the teachers led him down a separate hallway.

According to Proctor, “after I struck the wall, I didn’t really know what to think, like my mind just sort of went blank.”

According to a Round Rock Independent School District official, the administrator is no longer present on the GOALS Learning Center’s campus.

Jenny LaCoste-Caputo, the spokesperson, informed the sources that “the event was completely investigated by the district and reported to the relevant state agencies.”

“The employee is still working for the district, but they are no longer on campus. He works on specialised tasks for Central Administration.”

His mother claimed she is publishing the surveillance video because other families have told her similar tales.

“Quintin’s experience is not particularly unusual, exceptional, or rare. These activities often occur behind closed doors, thus, the only reason we have video of it is that it has expanded and become larger, “based on Alfano. “We must treat all children fairly. This shouldn’t be taking place.”
