Belgium Embassy in US shares glimpse of King’s Day celebration

United States: Embassy of Belgium in the United States of America shared a glimpse of the celebration of King’s Day with distinguished members of the U.S. administration and Congress, diplomatic and military colleagues, business leaders and important voices from think tanks, academia, the media and our community.

Embassy of Belgium in the United States of America expressed in the statement, “Great atmosphere at the Residence of Belgium last night where King’s Day was greatly admired with distinguished members of the United States administration as well as Congress, diplomatic and military colleagues, business leaders and important voices from think tanks, academia, the media and our community.”

It was an opportunity to further the solid partnership between the U.S. and Belgium.

Everyone was thrilled to have an American guest of honour: Nicholas R. Berliner, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the State Department and a former Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States of America Embassy in Brussels.

In their opening remarks, Berliner and Ambassador Régibeau mentioned the unprecedented challenges our world is facing and the exceptional unity and cohesion that support freedom and democracy. Belgium and the U.S. value the transatlantic bonds that underpin our shared prosperity and stability.

They appreciated everyone and highlighted special thanks to Suspicious Package for rocking the Residence with their amazing performance and to sponsors Anheuser-Busch Inbev, Delirium USA, Duvel-Moortgat USA, Katcef Brothers Inc., and Wetten Importers for their high-quality Belgian beers.
