US Army Reserves celebrates retirement of Lt. Col. Jon Korneliussen

United States: U.S. Army Reserves expresses pleasure as one of our employees, Lt. Col. Jon Korneliussen, celebrated his retirement. It was a remarkable day in the Memphis District.

They took to their official social media account and highlighted that it was a special kind of #tuesday at the Memphis District. The reason being is that one of their employees, Lt. Col. Jon Korneliussen, #celebrated his #retirement from the U.S. Army Reserves today.

“#congratulations, Sir! And #thankyou for your more than 20 years of active and reserved service to this country! During the ceremony, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, Memphis District Commander Col. Brian Sawser presented Lt. Col. Korneliussen with his retirement award and Meritorious Service Medal, as well as a Certificate of Appreciation, signed by our Commander in Chief and United States President Joe R. Biden.”

They mentioned in the statement that it was definitely a #goodnewstuesday, and since he’s getting ready to start a new phase of life, we thought it only appropriate to take a look back at a few memories before completely closing this one (at least on our end anyways).

Along with this, each photo will contain caption information found from a previous Facebook post on our page, with the oldest one dating all the way back to 2012.

Yes, they found out some goodies. Also, they are hoping they all enjoy “walking down” Jon’s memory lane. “We know we did.”

And to Jon as well as his family, congratulations again, and thank you for their service to this country. Thank you for the sacrifices, for the valour, as well as for protecting and defending the rights and this Nation.

He asserted that they have a great rest of your night, all of the people, as well as stay safe out there.
