Chicago makes vaccination certificate mandatory to visit public places

In Chicago, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for the indoor sites. Due to the continuous spike in cases of COVID-19, Illinois Secretary of States Offices will be closed.

Chicago:

The business is preparing for Chicago’s new COVID-19 vaccine obligation to come into effect on Monday. The only proof of the vaccination should be a physical card and the card on the mobile phone. Otherwise, entry into restaurants, gyms, and bars will not be allowed.

Rules are made for the safety of individuals, and it is imperative from the age of five years and more than that to have their vaccination proofs with them. The people will be not allowed more than 10 minutes inside the places they visit.

The general manager of Jerry’s Sandwiches, Adam Dempewolf, shared his thoughts, said, “The consumers will feel more safer, and the people working at that place will also feel relaxed.” Since Thanksgiving, Jerry’s Sandwiches in Lincoln Square has been requesting visitors for the fully vaccinated card.

The Cafe in Roscoe Village of Lucy’s will also start checking the people’s cards in the reception as not all the places for their safety must ask for it. They are also thinking about hiring new people to check their information because the other staff get occupied at the weekends. The Owner, the cafe chef, Martin Faisal, shared his concern, “There were many people that come into the cafe, but now the count of the people have reduced because some people are not vaccinated yet, but he is hoping for the best in coming future.”

Furthermore, he mentioned that he has a workload. In the coming time, he has to take care of everything so that it will be difficult for his work in the cafe and, on the other hand, verify the visitor’s vaccination cards to ensure that whether visitors are completely vaccinated or not.
