2 workers of Pennsylvania Care Home charged against abusing people

Two workers of the Pennsylvania Care Home have been accused of abusing individuals who are not able to speak to report their wounds, and they lack the ability to defend themselves from the issues they are facing.

As per the information shared by the sources, on Wednesday, the 28-year-old Zachary Lee Dinell, along with Tyler James Smith, 31-year-old, 12-count charges was issued.

Moreover, the charges described that in the middle of 2016 to around the month of September 2017 the residents of McGuire Memorial in New Brighton were punched in the face and head, was also chocked and kicked in the face, the acidic substances and other liquids has been rubbed into their eyes, jumped over and had liquids sprayed as well as thrown into their mouths.

The McGuire Memorial’s general counsel, named Thomas King, mentioned that they got to know about the abuse when the police officials worked on the case. They investigated Dinell for another issue and discovered the texts as well as the video clips on his mobile phone.

Along with this, the investigation emphasized that no other individual was involved at McGuire, says King.

On Friday, King mentioned in a statement that, “This was a horrible event for everyone involved in McGuire.” Some of the policies have been changed, and the security cameras have been inserted in all of the corners, “We’re trying to move forward from it.”

Furthermore, Both the men have been charged with concealing material facts about a health care matter, conspiracy, and ten counts of violating the federal hate crimes statute. None of Dinell and Smith has a lawyer listed in the records of the court. The messages were left for lawyers who have represented them in the earlier state court proceedings, which were related to similar allegations.
