Individuals from over 30 nations can take entry into France, as nation relaxes restrictions

Individuals travelling from around 30 third nations can now travel to France without having to follow any additional entry rules and regulations because they have been added to the green list.

The French authorities have updated the list of nations that are no longer severely afflicted by the COVID-19 sickness, declaring that all of the following countries will now fall into the green category:

  • Angola
  • Argentina
  • Bahamas
  • Bangladesh
  • Benin
  • Bolivia
  • Botswana
  • Canada
  • Comoros
  • Djibouti
  • Dominican Republic
  • El Salvador
  • Eswatini
  • India
  • Iraq
  • Jamaica
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kenya
  • Lesotho
  • Namibia
  • Oman
  • Pakistan
  • Paraguay
  • Peru
  • Philippines
  • Saint Kitts and Nevis
  • South Africa
  • Zambia
  • Zimbabwe

Moreover, the green list of France already involves several other third nations. The part of the green list also includes all of the European Union/ Schengen Area countries.

All of the travellers who reach France from one of the green-listed countries, such as those who have not been yet vaccinated for the COVID-19 infection, will be able to get restriction-free entry without any issue and also even if they do not have an important reason for their trip.

According to the Ministry notes, “No restriction shall apply when entering metropolitan France from a green list country or territory. No compelling reason is required for travellers to France.”

Along with this, the people who are already vaccinated will not face any travelling issues. They do not have to undergo additional entry restrictions as they will provide a valid vaccination certificate.

The vaccination pass is mentioned as valid when getting entry in France. It will show all of the vaccination status of the person and if he has completed the vaccination process or not within the last nine months or has received an additional vaccine dose.

As per the information provided by the French statement, The requirement for unvaccinated travellers to present a negative test to fly to France remains in place, but the steps on arrival (testing, isolation) are waived when they arrive from countries on the “green” list, which has a modest viral circulation.
