Las Vegas: Sniffing dog helps police tracing over 100 kg cocaine worth $10.5 million

In the United States, a sniffer dog helped the police officials in Las Vegas discover over 100 kg of cocaine worth $10.5 million concealed among a truck loaded with tomatoes.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department mentioned in the social media post that the detectives had initially stopped the truck for erratic driving at about 2:30 am local time on Friday, March 25.

Moreover, the department mentioned, “The nervous driver had a story that didn’t add up.” At that time, the officers called a K9 named Nuggetz, who made them aware of the presence of drugs.

Along with this, they mentioned in the statement, “LVMPD K9 Nuggetz indicated a positive alert for drugs which led to a search. Among a load of tomatoes, we found 230 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of $10.5 million dollars.”

The driver and a passenger identified as Nanak Singh and Chandra Prakash were arrested and booked on the charges of trafficking a controlled, as per the sources.

Meanwhile, an 8-year-old German shepherd named Wangwang worked as a sniffer dog at a security checkpoint in Xichuan county in Henan province, central China.

The dog was adopted after she was retired in June 2019. The move was meant that Wangwang, as well as her handler, were separated after years of working together.

Furthermore, the police informer has made the decision to give a surprise visit to his friend. The police officer was seen outside the home of the 8-year-old German Shephard.
