In Pittsburgh, a shooting that took place at a house party early Sunday morning killed two kids and injured at least nine others, according to authorities.
According to Pittsburgh police, the incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. during a party at a short-term rental house with more than 200 individuals inside, many of whom were under the age of 18, according to a news release.
Moreover, at least 11 individuals were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, including the two male victims who died there, says the authorities.
Along with this, the victims were not recognized right away. Others were hurt while trying to leave, with at least two individuals breaking bones after jumping out of the building’s windows, according to investigators.
The police officials stated that about 50 shots were fired inside, with most more being fired outside. A Pittsburgh police commander mentioned during an interview that round castings from the rifles as well as handguns were discovered at the site.
Furthermore, in the statement, the police mentioned that they analyzed evidence at up to eight different crime sites covering a few blocks surrounding where the incident happened. There had been not any of the suspects’ mentioned by the authorities till now.
As per the sources, until now, no reports have been shared about the well-being of the individuals that have been admitted to the health care center.
