Florida: Women performs Irish folk dance in an attempt to pass DUI test, but failed

Florida, United States: A woman pulled over for alleged drunken driving performed an Irish folk dance for the police officials in an attempt to prove her sobriety, as per the video.

The 38-year-old, Amy Harrington of Madeira Beach, rear-ended another car about a mile away from her home on April 27, according to the information shared by the officials. When the Pinellas County deputies arrived at the place, her eyes were bloodshot and watery.

Harrington tried to walk in a straight line at the time of a sobriety test along a parking space marker when she gave up and started dancing.

The woman was not able to follow instructions as well as was unsteady on her feet, almost failing,” as per the arrest documents obtained by the sources.

Along with this, a deputy who administered the test asked the question, “Do you want to give attention so I can give you the instructions?”

According to the video clip, “Yeah, well, you sound like my ballet coach, so, sounds about right,” Harrington answered before busting a move.”

The officer stated that was not good.

In addition, she proceeded to break into “multiple ballets and Irish folk dance moves,” police mentioned in the statement, as well as can be seen waving her arms and dancing around the line in front of the unimpressed cop.

Later on, she refused testing, the second time she refused to take a sobriety test after a separate incident in Pinellas County in 2019, according to the officials.

Furthermore, in the end, Harrington hoofed her way into driving under the influence charge, as per the report.
