California: Kidnapped Indian family of four members found dead, police confirms

United States: Four members of an Indian-origin family in the United States, including an 8-month-old girl, who went disappeared on Monday, were found dead in an orchard in California, as per the sources.

On Monday, in Northern California, eight-month-old Aroohi Dheri as well as her parents, 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur (Mother) and 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh (Father), were kidnapped at a business, a trucking company, from Merced County.

The uncle of the baby, 39-year-old Amandeep Singh, was also kidnapped, as per the Merced County police.

Along with this, Merced County Sheriff Warnke mentioned in the statement that the four bodies were discovered on Wednesday in an orchard near Indiana Road & Hutchinson Road in the United States of America.

A farm worker near the orchard found the bodies before contacting the officials, as per the police officials.

Sherrif Warnke shared the information during a press conference on Wednesday evening, “There are no words to describe the anger I feel.”

In addition, on Wednesday, the police officials released a video showing the moment the family was kidnapped. A few seconds later, the baby, as well as her mother, can be seen coming out of the building with the kidnapper. All of the four members of the family were then led into a truck before departing the scene.

A day after the family was kidnapped, the police officials took a suspected kidnapped, 48-year-old Jesus Manuel Salgado into custody who tried to take his own life.
