Denver police detains Colorado teen suspected of killing 14-year-old boy

United States: The Denver police officials made an arrest of Colorado teen on Friday night concerning the death of a 14-year-old boy who was discovered in the city’s Marston neighbourhood in August.

According to the authorities revealed that the suspect in custody was a 17-year-old Colorado boy at the time of the press conference on Saturday night.

The identity of the suspect will not be released, as he is a minor, as per the sources.

Along with this, the officers with the Denver Police Department mentioned that the victim in the case, 14-year-old Josiaz “JoJo” Aragon, attended the school with the suspect in the previous year.

Over the summer, the two reportedly discussed a firearm sale.

The two were in the middle of that transaction on August 8 when the suspect allegedly assaulted, robbed as well as killed Aragon.

The decision of whether to charge the young one as an adult or minor has not yet been made. The police officials say they are looking into whether others were involved in the crime, but so far, no evidence supports that theory.

Furthermore, according to the sources, an autopsy conducted by the Denver Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Aragon died from “multiple sharp as well as blunt force injuries with a gunshot wound.”
