United States: A woman in Texas, in the United States, was killed by her ex-husband on Thursday as the 2 were having an argument while she was on a call with an emergency operator, as per the police officials.
The incident that took place is under investigation as a domestic violence murder-suicide, which occurred at an apartment complex in Lewisville, Texas, which is a city about 25 miles north of Dallas.
Along with this, the man and woman are not publicly identified, and they were arguing in the complex’s parking lot when gunshots were shot.
The police officials mentioned in the statement, “At approximately 5:30 a.m., a female called 911 as well as could be heard arguing with a male subject.”
A woman shared the information with the dispatchers that her marriage to the man had recently ended.
The department of the public information officer told the sources that he believed the couple were recently no longer married.
The witnesses called 911 to report the incident, and the police officials highlighted telling emergency operators that the male “had shot the female multiple times, then shot himself.”
In addition, the police asserted, “When officers arrived, they found the female lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshots to her chest, and the male lying in the parking lot with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot to his head.”
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital as well as was pronounced dead an hour after she called 911. An hour after her death, she was pronounced dead.
Police explained that this was not the first time they had been called to the couple’s apartment to handle domestic-violence happenings.
Furthermore, the public information officer department shared the information with the sources that the last incidents did not involve violence.
