Two teens accused of assaulting a minor at bus stop in Wethersfield

United States: Police officials have apprehended two teenagers who are accused of assaulting a minor who was at a bus stop in Wethersfield in the previous month.

The officers were called to Maple Street at about 7 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, after getting a report of a physical assault of a juvenile at a bus stop. 

When the police officials reached at the crime scene, they mentioned that they met with the person, who said that he was standing at the bus stop when a car pulled up as well as the front seat passenger got out. 

Along with this, the victim, the suspect, then walked over to him as well as physically assaulted him in an attempt to steal his belongings. 

Working with the detectives from Middletown, Wethersfield police detectives developed information about the identities of two male suspects. The police officials prepared arrest warrants as well as submitted them to Middletown Superior Court for approval. 

One 16-year-old male suspect was apprehended for his participation in the assault, as per the police officials. The second 16-year-old male suspect was detained on Monday. 

Furthermore, both the teenagers are in court on Tuesday as well as are facing charges including robbery, assault and larceny.
