United States: American Journalist- Judd Legum talks about “one of the brilliant tech bros Musk has brought on to help him run Twitter.” He replied to a Tweet of David Sacks in which he shared a Wikipedia link with the title of United States free speech exceptions and noted, “Impersonation is not free speech.” The First Amendment does not protect fraud.
Ludd Legum took to his Twitter and commented on Davis Sacks’ official statement, “His knowledge of the first amendment apparently consists of reading a Wikipedia article, and it shows Parody is protected speech under the First Amendment. Look it up: Hustler v Falwell (1988).”

In this reply, Sacks noted he loves how all of the blue-checks who have been advocating greater censorship for years are suddenly citing Supreme Court cases to maintain that any removal of fraudulent accounts would violate First Amendment principles.
Along with this, the American Journalist responded, “No, you misstated what is protected under the First Amendment, citing a Wikipedia article. I corrected you, citing a Supreme Court case. Now you are inventing positions I do not hold to argue against because you are embarrassed.”

On the other hand, Davis Sacks is a co-founder of Craft Ventures, part of The All-In Podcast, as well as the founder of Callin.
Recently, Elon Musk permanently suspended the account of American comedian Kathy Griffin and mentioned, “But if she really wants her account back, she can have it.”

To this statement, David said she already has her account back, but it is imperative to have a regulation like this if a person wants to do a Parody where they can copy someone else’s name as well as picture, then should be marked as such.
Judd Legum mentioned in his official statement that he had attached the picture of Kathy Griffin’s account suspended, in which she has changed the name to Elon Musk. He noted, “Also, Kathy Griffin does not have her account back.”
