Charlotte to witness dodging of the raindrops this weekend

United States: The people of Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, will observe some sunshine on December 2, but if they are planning outdoor activities for the rest of the weekend, there were be a dodging of the raindrops this weekend.

The Former Charlotte Observer weather writer Steve Lyttle shared the updates on the weather in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.

Steve Lyttle mentioned in the statement that it is a big deal because a number of towns in the Charlotte area have holiday parades and tree-lighting ceremonies scheduled for Saturday and (to a lesser extent) Sunday.

There will be occasional showers around Saturday, especially in the time frame from 6 a.m. until 3 or 4 p.m. Sunday looks relatively dry, actually, but it will be cloudy and quite a bit cooler than Saturday.

The unsettled weather pattern will continue into next week, with a chance of showers in the forecast almost every day. It will get relatively warm toward the end of next week as people approach the expected pattern shift that will turn things colder again.

TODAY: Sunshine, with increasing high cloudiness in the afternoon. High of 54.

TONIGHT: Becoming cloudy, with a shower possible by 4 or 5 a.m. Low of 43.

SATURDAY: Overcast, with a shower from time to time. The showers will taper off by 3 or 4 p.m. High near 60.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Cloudy. Low near 40.

SUNDAY: Clouds and limited sun, and it will be cooler, with a high of 51.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Low of 36.

MONDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. High of 56. Showers will return after midnight.

TUESDAY: Clouds and limited sun, with a shower from time to time. High of 59.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds and some sunshine, with one or two showers around. High of 62.

THURSDAY: A mix of sun and clouds and mild, with a high near 65. One or two spots could get a shower.
