United States:Â The Former Charlotte Observer weather writer Steve Lyttle shared an update on the weather in Carolinas, and people have witnessed 1.5 and 2 inches of rain over the past 48 hours.Â
He took to his official social media account and highlighted in the statement that there is a chance to dry out, at least for a while. “Most of people from Carolinas got between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain over the past 48 hours, and at this time of year, with a low sun angle, that’s enough to keep things soggy for a while. But it looks as if we’ll get a chance to dry out over the next several days.”
High pressure will be in charge of their weather, more or less. There could be a weak disturbance arriving Sunday night, but rainfall with that system appears to be light.
As for next week, it’s a question mark. The various computer models are in disagreement about how things will evolve across the eastern United States, so take the forecast with a grain of salt. Most of the forecasts call for a dry week, but some computer-generated forecasts show low pressure developing in the eastern United States.
Temperatures won’t be as warm as the past few days, but they’ll be at or a bit above seasonal averages. There is nothing really cold showing in our forecast for the next seven days in Carolinas.Â
