Coffee Party-USA highlights “seek to understand” with general public

The Non-Profit Organization of USA Coffee Party shared an update entitled “Seek to Understand”, which inspired the general public to indulge in seeking to understand rather than judging too quickly through their official Facebook account Coffee Party on Monday, 27 February 2023.

The update was written anonymously, and he shared his experience starting later that night while driving. He felt that he made someone irritated and angry through his driving, for his concern towards the person he followed to the petrol station.

He mentioned that he had no idea about what he did incorrectly and also ensured by asking him if he was alright or not, what was wrong, and if there was anything he could do to calm him down and, with a sweet gesture, bid him good luck for the day. Still, in return, the person got stormed off.

Meanwhile, he also shared his perspective about the man’s reaction by adding that normally, he never responded to anyone in that way. Still, as he grew older, he prioritized “Seek to Understand” first.

He also mentioned that nothing he did could make him this upset. Therefore, there must be something else which is wrong and disturbing him.

Later, he found a message when he returned to his pickup in the school parking lot 45 minutes later. The note he found in the school parking lot quoted, “I am very sorry. My Mother just passed away, and my emotions are not right. Please Forgive me.”

One of the social media users, Brit Danielle, agreed with him and commented, “We are all humans, all just big kids in grown bodies- trying to make it through our days. None of us is perfect. Keep trying y’all”.

At the same time, another user Nicholas Brewer also shared his experience by adding, “As a flight attendant, I do this every day. People travel for all different types of reasons. Work, vacation, visiting colleges etc. But some people travel to or from a funeral to finalize a divorce or see a sick loved one. I never know why people are travelling, but I always try to seek to understand or just be kind.”

And the third one thanked Coffee Party and agreed with the quote, seeking to understand and commented, “Thank you for sharing this. You’re so right. We don’t know what other people are going through mentally”, and ended with “Namaste Om Shanti”.

On the other hand, not only this time, Coffee Party always put itself forward as being a platform for restoring a spirit of democracy in America and becoming the platform for sharing their experience and opinion along with interacting worldwide.

Additionally, the conclusion of the shared update stated that we could only know what someone is going through by getting into a determination that we should first seek to understand.
