Royal Caribbean international to open first royal beach club at paradise island in Bahamas

Bahamas: The world’s most popular and largest cruise line, Royal Caribbean International, is developing the first Royal Beach Club after acquiring approval from the government of The Bahamas

The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is a 17-acre destination experience reaching Paradise Island’s western end in Nassau. In addition to this, The Bahamas will blend the island’s stunning beaches with the cruise line’s distinctive attractions to create the ideal beach day.

Furthermore, the new project will feature a public-private partnership that Bahamians will invite to own up to 49% equity crafted in close collaboration with the Bahamian government in the beach club. 

Many Local entrepreneurs and businesses will get the opportunity to manage the experience of Royal Beach Club. The new venture will develop hundreds of jobs in construction and long-term operation.

President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, Michael Bayley, stated that from more than 50 years ago, The Bahamas had been a remarkable partner since the start before the first port of call.

Meanwhile, each year in Nassau, the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island will be the next bold experience in Royal Caribbean’s affirmation for increasing tourism and offering guests memorable vacations in the Bahamas. They continue to bring millions of visitors to experience attractions. Alongside, they will provide a world-class destination experience with private cabanas, stunning pools and more that will bring energetic Bahamian spirit and culture to life. 

Vacationers will experience the local architecture, exceptional views of The Bahamas’ turquoise-blue waters and white sand beaches, adventures of Bahamian fare, island-style barbecues, local artists and live music.

The beach club features 4 acres of Crown land that will contribute to the unique experience by ensuring that a portion of the revenues is returned to the government and the Bahamian people in an unusual deal in The Bahamas. In addition to a new tourism levy, this will reinvest in the local community.

As per the sources, The collaboration between the Royal Caribbean government and the community will develop through the stages of planning and completion. Royal Caribbean International added that the big reveal of the opening of the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island will be in the upcoming months, which is scheduled to be held in 2025.
