Saint Lucia Sports Academy and Leon Hess at Grand Finals of 2023, sports ministry cricket tournament

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Ministry of Sports Development and Sports Cricket Semi Finals, 2023, held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, the St Lucia Sports Academy won by 27 runs against St Mary’s College, the Leon Hess extensively won by six wickets against Choiseul Secondary, the Nayo John made 225 runs for six wickets against the St Mary’s College in 40 overs at the Gros Islet Field where the top leading Kensley Paul scored 57 runs with 5 fours and 6 sixes.

The other players, including Ashton Alexander, scored 49 runs, Zanki Louis scored 36, and Jeremiah Fedee scored 27. The wicket takers for St Mary’s College are Nayo John of the St Lucis Sports Academy took two wickets by giving 30 runs in 6 overs; the other players, including Yulieski Gustave, Xhan Riviere, Zhanni Joseph, and Dante Eugene, took one wicket each. St Mary’s College started the opening with Yulieki Gustave and Kanil Nelson, who stood together at 120 runs. Still, the match ended at 198 runs in 38.3 overs after the wickets were lost regularly.
