St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew addresses first inaugural flight of Inter-Caribbean Airways

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, along with CEO of the St Kitts Tourism Authority, Ellison “Tommy” Thompson and Minister of Tourism of Barbados, Mr Ian Gooding- Edghill addresses the first inaugural flight of Inter-Caribbean Airways from St Kitts to Barbados on March 12, 2023.

As per the update, St Kitts Tourism Authority hosted a welcome ceremony to celebrate the first inaugural flight of Inter-Caribbean Airways by honouring the newly established partnership between Inter-Caribbean and St Kitts remarkably assisted by making the destination more accessible within the region.

Furthermore, they also provided brief information about the new offering. They added that it would increase the number of regional travellers to the Federation and positively impact the Summer destination of Fun activities such as the St Kitts Music Festival, Nevis Mango Festival, Restaurant Week, Culturama, CPL T20, along with the newly introduced Kittitian RumMaster Program.

Additionally, CEO of the St Kitts Tourism Authority, Ellison Thompson, gives a testimonial in honour to the Minister of Tourism of Barbados, Ian Gooding Edghill, for honouring the first inaugural Inter-Caribbean Airways flight from St Kitts to Barbados.

In addition, many visitors volunteer to show their passion and joy towards the first inaugural Inter-Caribbean Airways flight from St Kitts to Barbados by clicking pictures before the flight starts.

Some of the Caribbean social media users, Shez Dore-Tyson, A student of the University of Technology, Jamaica took to the comment section and expressed his reaction towards the first flight and commented, “Fouinally de plane come. Me Bertha too glad for dis news. Hallelujah !!” translates “Finally the plane comes, me brother too glad for this news, Hallelujah!!”

Another social media user Viola Thomas, a Student of Liaison College of Culinary Arts, gave the blessing to her birthplace and added, “How awesome is that bless my Birthplace”.

In contrast, third social media user Geraldine Gilbert said, “That’s awesome! Congratulations!”
