The Alpha Team made up of the Police Department KPSM, the Customs Department, the Immigration Department, the Koninklijke Marechaussee, and the Coast Guard, worked together to make a significant interception on May 27, 2023, which resulted in the arrest of a Bulgarian national suspected of participating in skimming activities.
The suspect, identified as B.R.M (22), was detained by members of the Alpha Team as he tried to enter the island with a number of what are thought to be skimming-related devices. The culprit was quickly taken into jail after being apprehended, and the Alpha Team then questioned him.
The Alpha Team has been at the forefront of the fight against crime thanks to its multidisciplinary approach and knowledge.
