Dublanc, Dominica: Felix Anselm Jr, the Dominican footballer playing as an attacking midfielder in CCCUL Dublanc FC, unfortunately, suffered a dislocated ankle while on national duty playing against the British Virgin Island (BVI).
The club, through its official Facebook account, reveals that, relieved that Felix was promptly rushed to the Hospital, where he received the necessary medical attention. Felix has rejoined the rest of the squad, and he’s in good spirits.
Dublanc FC highlighted that Felix wanted to personally reach out to all Dominican footballer fans to let them know he’s safe and on the road to recovery. He noted that the support from his fans means the world to him as he aims to return to full fitness.
Anselm, the Dublanc FC midfielder, was taken to Hospital after being tackled by BVI player Carlos Septus in extra time (90+5). Septus was sent off for the tackle.
At Beausejour Stadium, currently known as Darren Sammy Cricket Ground, the group stage match between Dominica and BWI ended as a draw, with both teams scoring a goal.

Yesterday in Saint Lucia, Luka Chalwell scored the game’s opening goal, putting his team ahead in 29th minute. Dominica equalized the score in 83red minutes. Briel Thomas equalized the score and saved his team from defeat.
