Jaden Abrams to represent British Virgin Islands encountering Dominica

Jaden Abrams will be representing the British Virgin Islands doing National Duties in the upcoming CONCACAF League in Dominica & Turks and Caicos Islands.

The British Virgin Islands defender, affectionately known as ‘din din’ by his peers, is a grade 11 honour student at the Bregado Flax Educational Centre Secondary Division on Virgin Gorda.

The young defender will play a second match for his country and set to face Dominica on matchday 3 of the CONCACAF Nations League on October 13, 2023, at Beausejour Stadium, Saint Lucia.

On Matchday 4, the British Virgin Islands will play Turks and Caicos Islands to seal another victory at TCIFA National Academy. On September 9, The Nature Boys defeated the home team by 3-1.

Abrams started his football aspirations in the BVI Football Association Grassroot Program at the tender age of 5 years as a Goalkeeper and plays locally with VG United FC.

The 16-year-old has represented the BVI Football Association in the Caribbean Football Showcase and CONCACAF in various tournaments, such as the U15 and U17, where he was team captain and plays for the U20 national team.

He made his first cap in the starting XI on the BVI Senior Men’s National Team at the riping age of 16 years on September 9, 2023, in a historic 3-1 victory against Turks and Caicos during the CONCACAF Nation League Tournament on home soil.

Abrams was invited to train and play football in the United Kingdom and Barcelona, Spain. He has also played football in neighbouring countries in tournaments and friendlies.
