United States:Â A mother has been arrested after her three kids, including one girl and two boys, were found dead in the Los Angeles home, says police authorities.
Officials from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to a complaint of an attack with a dangerous weapon in the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard in West Hills at about 7.45 am on Sunday.
Moreover, when the officers arrived at their residence, the children, aged 8 to 12, were discovered unconscious and confirmed dead at the scene by Los Angeles, fire department workers.
The mother was later on taken for investigation but was detained in connection to the deaths, according to the officials.Â
LAPD public information officer Matthew Cruz mentioned in the statement, “No other suspects are being sought at the moment.”
Along with this, the incident was noticed on Mother’s Day, and the people living nearby were shocked after they got the information related to the happening.Â
One of the neighbors named, Priscila Canales, shared the information during an interview. She heard that her mother screaming, “My family is abusing me,” at about 10.30 pm in the night on Saturday.
In addition, she mentioned that the women were shifted into their neighborhood 2-3 months ago.Â
 Ms Canales said, “The screaming you heard; you knew she was not OK. I can still hear her screaming.”
Another neighbor, John, who has said no to sharing his full name, stated that he heard muffled cries a night earlier. He stated: “I thought I was just dreaming”.
“I thought [the area] was supposed to be safe. Nothing is safe nowadays.”
While the investigation into the case continues, how the youngsters perished is unknown. According to reports, police authorities have not released any further information.
Furthermore, the mother was transported to a hospital for a psychiatric assessment as per the reports.
