Carolina to witness warm and quite chilly weather

United States: The Former Charlotte Observer weather writer Steve Lyttle shared the weather update of Carolina, the weather is warm compared to what’s coming this weekend. 

Steve Lyttle shared the information through their official social media account and highlighted in the statement, “If you’ve been outdoors today, you know it’s damp and quite chilly. Moreover, you want a sobering thought? Today is “warm” compared to what’s coming this weekend. The good news about the Arctic blast this weekend is that the sun will be shinging, at least.”

TODAY: Overcast and quite chilly, with a high of 44. A few light showers will move through the area early this afternoon, and there could be a few sleet pellets mixed in. A light shower also is possible late this evening.

TONIGHT: Overcast, with a low of 30.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds, some sun, and continued chilly, with a high near 45.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Cloudy, with showers arriving after midnight. Low of 39.

THURSDAY: Cloudy with rain much of the time. High of 47.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Cloudy, with rain tapering off to showers by midnight. The showers will end before daybreak. Low of 40.

FRIDAY: Clearing in the morning. Becoming windy and turning much colder. Temperatures will drop from around 40 at daybreak to near freezing by early afternoon and into the 20s by late afternoon.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Clear and bitterly cold, with a low near 15. A northwest breeze will drop wind chills to 0 to 5 degrees.

CHRISTMAS EVE: Sunny and bitterly cold, with a high near freezing. A northwest breeze will keep wind chills in the teens much of the day.

CHRISTMAS DAY: Sunny as well as very cold, with a high near 35.

MONDAY: Boxing Day will be sunny and very cold, with a high of 37.
