Texas: The CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis, Ken Ham, attended a memorial yet celebration service of his good friend and colleague Dr John Morris on Friday in Dallas, Texas. Answers in Genesis is an American organisation which is a fundamentalist Christian apologetics parachurch.
Ken Ham considered the memorial service a celebration service as, according to him, John has gone to be in his eternal home with his Creator and Savior. Ham said he travelled with John on numerous speaking engagements in the USA and other parts of the world, following which they both became very good friends.
In addition, he said they spoke together at many of the popular “Back To Genesis” seminars and got the honour of coauthoring a children’s book on dinosaurs that John called “What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs?”
Furthermore, the CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis, Ken Ham, remarked that when he, his wife and their children first moved to work with the Institute for Creation Research in Santee, California, in 1987, they stayed with John and his wife, Dalta, and family until they found a place to rent.
Along with this, Ken Hen also mentioned that John’s father – Late Henry Morris, founded the Institute for Creation Research and coauthored the famous book “The Genesis Flood,” which spawned the modern creationist movement.
He shared glimpses of the memorial service on his official Facebook account and expressed his love and condolences to Dalta, his family, and all the other family and friends of the Morris family.
Meanwhile, he outlined that he will miss John and grieves over the separation and added, “But we acknowledge John’s physical ministry on earth came to an end as our Creator called him home. But his ministry doesn’t end. His legacy in the many books and videos he produced, and in the lives of tens of thousands of people, will continue impacting people generation after generation.”
