Antigua and Barbuda: The Antigua Sailing Week’s 54th edition has begun. It started with the exciting Peters & May Round Antigua Race on Saturday, April 29th. The Ministry has released the complete schedule for Antigua Sailing Week 2023, which is listed below:
The regatta will feature five days of thrilling races and daily prize ceremonies, as well as famous shoreside festivities. In 2023, the Antigua Wing Foil Championships will be introduced, with two days of in-harbour racing, a one-day downwinder on Lay Day, and the RS Elite One Design class.
The 54th edition of Antigua Sailing Week presents a diverse mix of boats from 18 countries. Sailors from all around the globe are visiting Antigua & Barbuda.
Despite racing, there is also a party scene on the shore. Reggae in the Park live concert will take place during the middle of the regatta. Another fun event is Lucky Eddi’s Lay Day, where there is plenty of laughter at Pigeon Point Beach.
The Prize Giving ceremony held at Nelson’s Dockyard is highly anticipated. It is a memorable night for all who attend.
