The 2023 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) includes Dwayne Bravo returning to Trinbago Knight Riders. Bravo, who played with the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for two seasons and won the championship with them in 2021, rejoins the Knight Riders.
Bravo is the most successful wicket-taker in T20 history and leads all players in the CPL with 124 victims in 97 games. With more than 100 wickets for his home team, Bravo is also the Knight Riders’ top wicket-taker.
From 2013 through 2020, Bravo played as the Trinidad franchise’s representative, winning the championship four times during that time.
Bravo is the most successful player in CPL history with five championships, and he is also known as the face of Trinidad cricket, so fans of the Knight Riders will be thrilled to see him play for his hometown team again.
The Republic Bank CPL full squads will be revealed during the draught show, which will air at the end of June 2023.
