Portsmouth, Dominica: Sports Division, Dominica, operates within the Ministry of Culture Youth Sports and Community Development, informed through its social media account that on August 3, 2023, a match was played between Babonneau Grassroots Academy U19 and Dominica Combined Schools U19 under school boys cricket series.
The visitors, Babonneau Grassroots, triumphed over the hosts by five wickets with six overs remaining. In the beginning, Dominica Combined Schools U19 won the toss and elected to bat first at Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth, Dominica.
For the first innings, the combined schools scored 101 runs in twenty overs by losing nine wickets. It’s a challenging match for Dominicans. They were, observed struggling in front of the bowling attack of Babonneau Grassroots.
