Saint Lucia: Weather to remain partly cloudy, chances of few scattered showers

Saint Lucia: The Meteorological Department of Saint Lucia has shared the weather updates for Wednesday’s early morning of January 11, 2023. The weather forecaster E. Francis mentioned that the weather is partly cloudy and hazy, becoming cloudy at times with a few scattered showers. 

Currently, the weather at the Hewanorra Airport is partly cloudy and hazy, and the temperature at GFL Airport, Saint Lucia, is fair as well as hazy. 

As to the weather forecaster, the present temperature at the Hewanorra Airport is 26°C or 79°F. The maximum temperature of the country at the airport was 30°C or 86°F.

At both airports in Saint Lucia, the unit length was 2.2mm and 4.5mm. The total rainfall for the month of January so far was, 

• At Hewanorra Airport: 48.2 mm
• At GFL Charles Airport: 93.3 mm

Tomorrow sun will rise at 6:31 am in the morning. The time of sunset tomorrow will be 5:53 pm in the evening. 

The forecaster mentioned that the weather report is only valid for the next 24 hours. 

The winds will be blowing from the east near 17 mph or 28 km/h, which also becomes lighter sometimes. The weather will be partly cloudy and foggy, which becomes cloudy at some times with a little bit of rainfall.

The Marine Forecast for the seas in a 25-mile or 40 km radius from the nation island of Caribbean, Saint Lucia.  

The tides for Castries Harbour are high at 6:20 pm and low at 12:53 am.

For Vieux Fort Bay, the tides will be high at 7:27 pm as well as low at 02:20 am. Moreover, the seas moderate with waves four to six feet or about 1.2 – 1.8 metres.

Furthermore. the sky will be partly cloudy, which will become cloudy at times with some scattered showers. 

As per the weather summary, over the next few days, the Atlantic high-pressure system will continue to create light to moderate easterly winds around the Eastern Caribbean region.
